Accounting Supervisor UAEECA (UA&Eastern Europe, Central Asia) is accountable for implementing corporate accounting policies, programs, and systems in order to control the cluster's financial assets, for developing local accounting policies in cluster countries. Accounting Supervisor is a leading Accounting team (7) and is responsible for talent developments in finance organization UAEECA.

- Lead the accounting function so that financial transactions, policies, systems, and procedures meet the cluster's short and long-term business objectives and comply with regulations, accounting principles, and standards in MSU and MU for all cluster units UAEECA

- Activities include reporting corporate, statutory, tax; VAT accounting; accounts payable; payroll; travel expenses; bank accounting

- Liaise with external service provider for transactional accounting and other services

- Ensure local books comply with local legislation

- Confirms Accounts Reconciliation in AICO for UAEECA. Review and confirm journal entries in AICO for UAEECA

- Ensure monthly reconciliation of all balance sheet accounts thereby allowing for timely managerial analysis of their trends, monthly reconciliation of local vs. IFRS books. Support in the preparation of the submission packages, where it is required.

- Ensure process and work standardization across cluster. Set KPIs and monitor performance accordingly.

- Ensure compliance with Internal controls processes and procedures. Identify any potential areas of non-conformity and propose, agree and monitor the implementation of appropriate corrective actions

- Direct or execute Finance related special projects.

- Lead, direct, evaluate, and develop a team to ensure that the organization's accounting activities are conducted accurately, ethically, consistently and according to relevant regulations, laws, and standards.

- Responsible for talent development of direct team members and support FD in developing UAEECA finance organization. Control and meet targets on function's expenses of the clustered team.

Qualifications

• Enthusiastic  about coffee.
• 2+ years of accounting people manager experience.
• Knowledge of Internal Control systems, IFRS;
• Strong leadership skills, drive for results.
• Mindset with strong business acumen.
• Knowledge of SAP, MC Office
• Excellent analytical and communicative skills;
• Fluent English
