System administrator

One of the largest ERP systems in the world is open to extending the project team by a Network administrator to drive the evolution of the technology platform into a cloud-based architecture.

Required skills:

• 5+ years of technical knowledge with experience in system architecture design, system administration, and/or computer security in integrated computing environments;
• experience designing and supporting Enterprise Infrastructure Technologies and Platforms including VMware Private Cloud, Cisco, Palo Alto, Dell, IBM Softlayer;
• technical experience with Windows server operating systems, Active Directory, Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, OneDrive, Office 2016, and other Microsoft Office 365 technologies;
• CCNA, CCNP, MCSE, VCP designations, and assets;
• At least upper-intermediate English level.

Will be a plus:

• available certifications of qualification with Microsoft products;
• experience working with cloud infrastructure solutions, preferably Microsoft Azure;
• strong interpersonal skills and professionalism to develop and maintain collaborative working relationships and partnerships with stakeholders and colleagues at all levels;
• positive can-do and take-charge attitude, capable of working as part of a team and independently.

Responsibilities:

• architect the enterprise network infrastructure, LAN/WAN, QoS, Cisco routers and switches, Windows Servers;
• design, install and configure company private and public VMware cloud environment, storage systems, and backup infrastructure;
• architect and support SD-WAN Implementation, Next-Generation Firewall appliances, VPN, SIEM, and antivirus/antimalware systems;
• support the build-out of development, QA, UAT, and production environments within the cloud;
• work closely with the development team to establish build environments that take advantage of continuous integration, continuous deployment, etc. to reduce the overall time for code to be deployed to production;
• provides on-site IT support for emergency response drills and incidents;
• supports industry best practices, researches and recommends new technologies, standards, processes, policies, and procedures;
• create technical documentation and training.
