Chief Accountant

Western NIS Enterprise Fund (WNISEF) is a regional private equity fund, a pioneer in Ukraine and Moldova with more than two decades of successful experience investing in small and medium-sized companies. We are looking for an experienced professional to join our Team as a Chief Accountant!

Responsibilities:

• Prepare Finance Reporting on a quarterly and annual basis (US GAAP) 
• Review accounting entries booked by the Accountant
• Maintain, review and close accounting books 
• Review of wire transfers prepared by Accountant and set up of wire transfers when Accountant is absent
• Coordinate external annual audits 
• Prepare the US annual tax return supporting information in coordination with external tax advisors
• Cooperate with project managers, investment team, legal team, and Chief Accountants of other WNISEF entities
• Forecast cashflow
• Prepare annual budget 
• Prepare USAID, US state report, and management reporting 
• Other tasks (review of contracts, invoicing, business insurance renewal, etc.)

We are looking for a goal-oriented, senior finance professional, a team player with extraordinary analytical skills, attentive to details, who is able to set priorities and meet the deadlines, stay positive with the following skillset and experience: 

• Extensive hands-on experience in Accounting and Finance, experience in Audit is an advantage 
• Upper-intermediate level of English (all entries, correspondence and reporting are maintained in English)
• Advanced Excel user
