Courier Operations Analyst

The couriers, “Glovers” for us, are the key player in Glovo’s marketplace. We are looking for a Data Analyst (Courier Retention) who will find the balance between creativity and data-driven objectivity in such a way that they carry out projects that seem impossible until they come true.

You will be in charge of the lifecycle of couriers, from the moment when they register on the acquisition page till they churn, always pushing back the time they churn as far as possible.

BE A PART OF A TEAM WHERE YOU WILL:

• Be part of our Courier Operations team
• Define and develop tools and processes to improve our performance management and decision making
• Be key in project management process
• Provide analytical support to the operations team
• Propose, track and consolidate new ideas to improve the operations by being obsessed with Glovo's KPIs
• Build tools and processes, to carry out automated actions and monitoring on couriers
• Perform analysis to come up with some insights to help improve the main courier operational metrics in all the cities in the country
• Track the impact of all the new implementations that you have proposed by checking the daily metrics of the cities
• Own dashboards and build new tools to improve the visibility of metrics in the department
• Evaluate strategic opportunities, performing a broad range of quantitative analyses and A/B tests
• Contribute towards the continuous improvement of the Glover lifecycle through out-of-the-box thinking
• Understand local needs, and put yourself in the skin of the Glover - understand who they are
• Give life to your craziest ideas and have an immediate impact

Requirements:

• Degree in Economics/Engineering/Math;
• Experience in Analytics/Data Science/Project positions;
• Strong SQL skills - able to extract, manipulate, transform and analyse large volumes of data with a high level of accuracy;
• Analytical and problem-solving skills;
• Good to have knowledge of visualisation tools like Looker;
• Proactive and organized;

• Excel proficiency;

• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills (English is a must);

• Some experience in Python and JavaScripts is a plus
