Ubertesters is a software development company and the provider of a community of on-demand, global, professional testers with devices to help companies support their mobile testing needs. The company also offers a cloud-based, mobile app testing tool to help companies manage their mobile testing process and in-house QA teams. 

We are looking for Community Development Manager who will be responsible for the day to day running of the «tester's community» including our members recruiting, ongoing membership, and professional development programs.

Responsibilities:

  • Drive community members acquisition of QA professionals and beta testers to join the community.
  • Manage and grow the tester’s community (crowd-testers) of existing global and freelance software testers and responsible for relationship building while making them feel belong and appreciated.
  • Find creative means to connect the ‘gig workers' to our brand and mission in order for them to be engaged.
  • Drive and contribute to the overall performance of new member acquisition and retention rate globally.
  • Involved in improving the community member journey and the overall member experience.
  • Playing the intermediary role between company and community, highlighting emerging issues and updates.
  • Work with content. It can be pictures, newsletters, and updates — creating some ‘news' from the company and about the community.
  • Community Evolution — helping develop new applications, platforms and other tools for community engagement that also benefit the company.
  • Campaigns — manage member communication campaigns from concept through to design and delivery.
  • Competitive analysis — register with all competitors as a tester. Analyze, report, and make suggestions.
  • Managing and setting up the day to day details or running the community — communications, activity tracking, providing feedback, etc.
  • Create monthly reports regarding the community status and progress. Other duties as assigned from time-to-time by management.

Qualifications for this position include:

    • Community management experience.
    • Familiar with the company’s community and related policy, processes and regulations.
    • Creative ideas of how to build, grow and strengthen our community.
    • English fluency in high-level is essential, both verbal and written.
    • Knowledge of Excel is a must. Email marketing and HTML is beneficial.
    • Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously, be self-motivated and can work independently.
    • Excellent communications skills and positive attitude.
