We are looking for an IT Support Engineer to join our growing team in Kyiv.

The Ideal Candidate

  • 1+ years of working experience in end user Windows/Mac OS setup and maintenance;
  • experience in researching and troubleshooting software, hardware and network issues;
  • strong communication, collaboration and team working skills;
  • familiar with Microsoft Office 365, Active Directory concept;
  • familiar with purchasing, stock management;
  • familiar with networking concepts (firewall, LAN, VPN, static routing, VLAN, Wi-Fi);
  • ability to self-education;
  • master’s degree in Computer Systems/Science or equivalent;
  • pre-Intermediate English level or higher.

Optional:

  • proactive position in problem solving, result oriented;
  • experience in configuration and support systems: Dropbox, Workplace, Atlassian stack (Jira, Confluence, Service Desk), Git;
  • network configuration and troubleshooting;
  • knowledge of information security;
  • work in remote / international team;
  • end to end responsibility.

The Role

  • users support, resolving incoming technical issues in a friendly and client-oriented way;
  • provide PC services including setup, configuration, repairing, upgrade and asset management (90% Microsoft, Linux/Mac);
  • software and licenses management;
  • accounts setup and network configuration;
  • purchasing and stock-management;
  • support of different corporate programs and systems;
  • provide prompt and accurate feedback to customers;
  • prepare accurate and timely reports. As a consultant and as a binding part between developers and our clients you are expected to develop expertise both in technology and the means to communicate complex concepts and rationale to non-techies. We’ll encourage and support this with frequent opportunities to share ideas internally. We also have consultants who frequently deliver at regional, national and global conferences.
