Junior Project Manager (DanAds)

CUSTOMER

We collaborate with a Swedish-based company DanAds. It is a B2B company that creates white label self-serve solutions for World Known Publishers (e.g. Bloomberg, eBay, Hearst, TripAdvisor, etc.).

PROJECT

We work on the DanAds platform, an Ad-desk which is integrated with the publishers own ad servers (e.g. Google Ad Manager — GAM), CRM and payment systems (Adyen, Stripe). The main customers/users of the system are Publishers as well as small and medium advertisers who want to market its business among web, mobile, and print units. Publishers are Media owners; small and medium advertisers are direct advertisers, various digital agencies, and sales companies.

Sigma Software developed the system from scratch. It consists of back-end build with Laravel PHP framework, front-end build with Vue.js and HTML/CSS/JS and a special SDK for integration with AdServers (GAM, Beeswax, Matchcraft, etc.).

As a Junior Project Manager in Mobile & Web Solutions Department, you will be assisting a Project Manager working on innovative, complex and dynamic projects in the AdTech domain. Together you will walk through the full software project lifecycle and familiarize with successful deliveries of projects, compile project teams, building a healthy internal environment, and manage people’s growth.

REQUIREMENTS

• 2+ years of experience in IT
• Upper-Intermediate spoken and written English
• Experience in drafting presentations
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint

WILL BE A PLUS

• Good theoretical knowledge of estimation techniques and project progress tracking methods
• Knowledge of Agile methodologies Experience in communication with customers
• Experience in customer support
• Prior experience of residing abroad or participation in FLEX or Work & Travel programs

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Work with business units and stakeholders to determine project vision and goals, product functionality
• Oversee all phases of project activity, including estimation, initiation, planning, execution, control, and closure
• Change management facilitation, process design, business requirements management
• Manage, monitor, and plan the project execution. Deliver projects on-time and within allocated budget
• Track project milestones and deliverables
• Conduct project post mortems and create a recommendations report in order to work out lessons learned for continuous process improvement
• Implement best practices and tools for project execution and management
• Prepare material for status meetings and follow up on any issues raised in status meetings
• Develop and deliver progress reports, proposals, requirements documentation, and presentations
• Forecast and keep track on a budget
• Participate in planning, scoping, and monitoring of quality into all phases of the project. Inspire and motivate a team for outstanding results
