Python Senior Engineer #10835

Our customer is one of the biggest pharmaceutical companies in the world that builds data analytics and visualization software to improve the quality of processes and their performance.

We are looking for a Senior Python Engineer to support development of new product in scope of data engineering platform.

In order to improve Machine Learning algorithms prediction quality, we are developing a new product to track data health and consistency between different organization electronical data registration systems.

New product allows to design and schedule execution of specialized data quality checks and root-cause-analysis determination algorithms with automated data issue assignments for data owners.

System as well will support many data source DBs, provide custom-built user-friendly dashboards for administrators, data owners and regular users.

Main tasks and responsibilities

· Participate in research, discussions and decisions on software architecture and internal coding, architectural, process and other standards

· Lead back-end technical agenda in full-feature team
· Analyze and estimate implementation efforts
· Implement, review, support and debug required functionality
· Risk estimations and management
· Demo implemented functionality to stakeholders
· Report to TL about current tasks status, technical and other risks
· Be technical mentor for less experienced team members

Education, skills and experience

Must have:

· 5+ years software development experience
· 3+ years of Python commercial development experience
· Good understanding of RDBMS and experience with PostgreSQL
· Experience with Django and DRF
· Experience in data processing and manipulation
· Debugging skills
· Sufficient English level for communication (verbal & written)
· Good communication and collaboration skills
· Fast research and learning skills

Would be a plus:

· Experience with AWS platform
· Experience with PySpark / SparkSQL / DataBricks
· Experience with medical business domain
