Country manager at Laba Czech Republic

We are now looking for a Country Manager to join our team! A Country Manager will be responsible for growing our business based on Laba’s business model, which shows significant results in Ukraine, Russia, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Hungary, Poland, and the USA.

A well-suited candidate is known for a “getting-things-done” attitude and can quickly adapt and react in response to changes. The position requires a result-driven person with a desire to build a business from the ground up.

What you’ll do: 

• Organize and support the establishment of a legal entity in a new country according to local authorities’ requirements (choose a corporate form, execute and notarize company’s documents, obtain tax identification and VAT number, open a bank account, etc.)
• Oversee all the strategic planning processes for Laba.
• Define and execute the market strategy and operating plan in a dynamic, digital and remote environment.
• Create an annual financial plan for local Laba: plan operational activities, define operating costs, calculate monthly salary budget according to local taxes.
• Build, enhance and run processes that will contribute to the company's revenue growth.
• Prepare and submit reports to local authorities (taxes/VAT/other relevant documentation).
• Conclude agreements with the team/instructors/partners according to the local labor law.
• Enter a new market using Laba’s best practices for market growth and getting assistance from HQ Laba.

Requirements:

• Native Czech and Advanced English
• Knowledge of the Czech market 
• Bachelor's degree in communications, journalism, mass media (or other relevant disciplines), or professional experience that demonstrates the ability to be a highly effective leader.
• Experience in general management, entrepreneurial, and/or consulting. 
• Basic understanding of the digital environment (SMM, Google Ads, SEO) and relevant metrics (CTR, CPL, CPC).
• Proven track record of creating business plans, leading teams, and delivering results in a startup environment.
• Strong communication and presentation skills and the ability to inspire and engage your teammates. 
• Proven track record as a team leader, critical thinker, and problem solver.
• Experience building high-performing teams and the ability to identify and cultivate high-potential talent.
