Accountant

Currently we are looking for Accountant for our Global shared service Accounts Payable accounting team located in Poland, Gdansk.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• US GAAP bookkeeping of expenditures by types; US GAAP bookkeeping of respective AP and bank payments. Pre-bookkeeping procedures such as checking of appropriate payment or expense recognition documents, its accounting and taxation attributes, etc.
• Making bank payments to EPAM counterparties (domestic and foreign wire payments; batch and individual transfers)  
• Monthly accounting close of mentioned accounts SAP in accordance with established procedure and agreed rules
• Providing of explanations/supporting documentation to external and internal Auditors the same as to Senior/Lead Accountant, if required

REQUIREMENTS  

• Finance/ Accounting background
• Good knowledge of English (Intermediate level at least)  
• Minimum 2 year of accounting working experience
• Knowledge of US GAAP (at least basics) or IFRS as alternative  
• Good MS office skills, especially Excel skills
• Attentiveness to details, ability to control and process information that comes from many different sources (and could influence potential journal entry)
