Business Development Manager of Data Center Facility

We are seeking highly motivated candidates who enjoy working with cutting edge Services & Technologies to join our growing Regional Digital Power Consultancy & Integration Services Business Unit as a Data Centre BD based out Sweden or Turkey area. This BD firstly is a very experienced business consultant with DC facility and digital energy expertise. He/she outlines business scenarios and Principal Architecture descriptions, then monitors and governs their implementation.

The BD serves as a senior consultative resource to the major accounts segment of Huawei DC Services business in CEE&Nordic Region. The BD routinely engages both internally and externally with Director, VP and C-level staff providing critical perspective and guidance on strategy, investments and innovation drawing upon their depth and breadth of technical and business impact knowledge. The BD will report into the Pre-Sales organization at the regional level. The BD will work with the account teams based on a strategic account plan in DC facility domain. The goal will be to facilitate and extent on-going projects and help to start new initiatives and sell Huawei DC facility solutions.

Job description:

Main Responsibility:

The main responsibility is to understand the existing services and marketing requirements from our customer (s) and what is needed in the DC facility environment to match these requirements into an end to end solution and sell this solution. Need to have overall knowledge of business drivers, architectures, technical requirements but also business requirements. The business requirements might include types of products, types of services, quality of services, estimated market size of each existing and future products and services, pricing principles that might be offered to the market.

The following Roles & Responsibilities are expected:

• Develop Business Scenario's and related High level Architectures
• Develop architecture material such as blueprint, architecture decisions, roadmap, current and target architectures aligning to the business and technology goals of an operator
• Provide direction, leadership and guidance to design, integrate and describe Principal Architecture that support customer initiatives
• Provide architecture, technical and business consulting skills and services to meet specific project needs in the areas of Product, Integration and Operation etc.
• Facilitate sessions to develop architecture decision and solutions by collaborating with Service Solution Sales, Service Delivery stakeholders.
• Facilitate the effective definition and management of the Products and Services Architecture (e.g., principles, models, standards, guidelines, plans).

Position Objective:

OPPORTUNITY TRACING/LEADS GENERATION

Proactively find new ways of creating business value, adding value for both the customer and Huawei, by analyzing customer needs, businesses, processes and translating them into Services solutions from the perspective of the customer by applying Consultative selling techniques. This will lead to new opportunities. Accountable for developing and qualifying the Sales Funnel/Pipeline for the entire Services domain.

KEY PERFORMANCE INDICATORS

The objectives for the role of BD are to accelerate growth in share of wallet, spread best practice among account teams and elevate strategic mindshare with those accounts. The BD creates and articulates customer-specific solutions in a compelling way. The goal is to become a thought leader and trusted advisor to enterprise CxO's, VPs of Infrastructure and IT strategists influencing the future overall architecture of these accounts based on the benefits of Huawei's solutions, services and visions.

• DC facility products and services sales.

• Sales leads/opportunities generated for Huawei DC facilities

Qualifications:

Key Attributes:

GRADUATE OR BUSINESS QUALIFICATION.

Overall 10 + years' Telecom or IT Data Center or site facility Principal Architecture experience - candidates are required to have in depth knowledge and proven expertise in this area.

At a minimum 5 years of experience in business development or management of a Telecom or IT department within an Operator or DC service provider.

PROFESSIONAL COMPETENCES

Has the ability to understand the end-to-end solutions and the benefits that can be applied applications of Huawei DC facility solutions to customer environments. Proven track record of selling solutions. Ability to see and present «the big picture» and offer solutions to make it better. Possesses deep knowledge end to end products, services activities and business standards and best practices to apply them appropriately in solutions. Certain Expertise in the following areas:

• Business Consultancy
• Modular data centers (outdoor and indoor)
• All-in-one container data centers
• Uninterruptible Power Supplies (UPSs)
• Precision air conditioners

Methodology skills

Has good understanding of the methodologies used in the telecom and IT business environment like Uptime Tier, TIA942 etc.

The candidate with Uptime ATS/ATD or TUViT certificates are preferred

Other requirements

Ability to travel up to 60 percent of the time, including international if necessary
