Release Coordinator (SK-905)

Skelia is in need of a skilled Release Coordinator. You are welcome to join our team on-site or remote. You'll get an opportunity to join our UK-based client's company. They are a leading travel group, and their mission is to help travellers find the most suitable holiday options. They are currently developing a platform that is multi-market and is used by various sales channels. The main team focus is agile delivery, using Continuous Integration and Delivery. Their services are built and deployed using automated pipelines. All new services they develop are hosted on AWS. As a Release Coordinator, you will be responsible for implementing and managing the release process. 

YOUR MISSION

• Co-ordinate, plan and manage all release actions for a stable release
• Coordinate release issues and release cross-dependencies
• Maintain and communicate the release schedule for all applications
• Manage risks and resolve issues that affect release scope, schedule and quality
• Provide ongoing written, and verbal release state updates to stakeholders
• Coordinate tracking of defects during release phases; coordinate with Dev/QA/DevOps/PO to ensure follow up and closure of defects
• Manage relationships and coordinate work between different engineering teams and stakeholders at different locations
• Develop consistent strategies for release management processes across multiple teams
• Continually work towards improving the release cycle via process improvements to help establish predictability and cadences for releases

YOUR PROFILE

• Experience with the release management process
• Excellent communication skills
• Remarkably detail-oriented personality able to maintain strict schedules and deadlines
• Analytical mindset
• Ability to work autonomously
• Knowledge of the entire SDLC
• Upper-intermediate level of English
