Junior DevOps Engineer for DevOps Educational course

We invite a passionate Junior DevOps or Intermediate IT Specialists to join our full-time internal mentorship program. You'll become a part of Dev.Pro team from day one, discovering how software development and IT operations are connected with the help of our internal mentor. After the two-months program you'll join one of our projects or you'll be a part of the IT team as DevOps Engineer. What’s in it for you:

Qualifications and experience:

• Administration of Linux (Ubuntu) servers, Windows server environments
• Experience in installing, configuring, and maintaining databases, web-servers
• Expertise with monitoring and troubleshooting, high load IT environments
• Experience with scripting bash, PowerShell, Python
• Experience working with version control (Git) and CI/CD (Jenkins, TeamCity)
• Knowledge of Cloud technologies (AWS, GCP services)
• Experience with continues configuration automation tools Ansible, Chef, Puppet, Salt
• Intermediate+ English

Nice to have:

• Ability to build and monitor services on production servers
• SSL/TLS Protocols (securing servers, generating, and validating certificates)
• Strong understanding of modern operating environments and disciplines: firewalls, proxies, certificates, network, security, etc.
• Awareness of information security, resolving security vulnerabilities, and intrusion prevention
• Ability to design and implement Disaster Recovery, failover

Key responsibilities:

In this course, we will cover topics related to AWS, CI/CD flow. You will gain basic understanding of infrastructure orchestration (Terraform) and continuous configuration automation (Ansible), will learn how to use Docker, and much more. You will:

• Work on home tasks individually
• Engage in teamwork environment
