Junior System Administrator

Requirements:

• Good understanding of TCP/IP stack.

• At least 1 year of expirience.

• The general concept of how Lan / WiFi networks work

• Understanding of VPN, access management.

• Maintenance and troubleshooting of hardware (laptop, PCs) and software.

• Experience in Setup/install/configure Linux/Windows workstations.

• Good soft skills.

• Experience in providing assistance to users.

• At least an Intermediate level of English.

It will be a plus:

• Knowledge of computer diagnostics, installation, and troubleshooting;

• Understanding of virtualization technologies;

• Helpdesk or IT Services experience.

Main responsibilities:

• Identify, diagnose, and resolve recurring and incidental support issues for end-users.

• IT troubleshooting: obtain an issue, analyze it, try to solve using a knowledge base or collect a maximum of information for delegation to the higher level of support.

• Installation, configuration, and supporting Windows/Linux Desktop Computers;

• Installation of additional software.

• Creation of user documentation, FAQs, manuals.

• Computer and other equipment (projector, printer, scanner, fax, phone device, etc) set up and configure.

• Inventory management.
