We welcome an IT Support Engineer to join our IT Service Center department. We have a great professional team, and we are pleased to invite a specialist with solid experience and a friendly personality. 

Requirements:

At least 2-3 years’ experience in a similar position

Strong knowledge of Windows 10 (7, 8.1 will be a plus)

Basic knowledge of macOS and Ubuntu

Experience in Windows Server 2012 R2, 2016 and Linux (CentOS/RedHat, Debian) administration will be a plus

Knowledge of computer components, peripherals, network equipment

Knowledge of principles and methods of networking

Intermediate level of English


Responsibilities:

Prepare workplaces for new users (standard PC, laptop)

Choose workstation configurations, buy workstations and peripheral devices

Perform installation and configuration procedures

Provide user support (daily issues)

Handle warranty repair

Upgrade hardware and software

Replace and maintain cartridges and laptop batteries, maintain office hardware

Install and configure network equipment, commission new facilities

Register equipment (hardware, software)

Work with documentation (warranty, accounting)

Prepare manuals for setting up and using the software

Participate in system recovery after crashes and malfunction of hardware

Participate in the development of proposals regarding modernization and purchase of hardware

Perform other activities for maintenance and development of infrastructure
