ICT Support Team Leader

 We are looking for ICT Support Team Leader

 Location – Kyiv, Ukraine (or) Sosnowiec, Poland (or) Nitra, Slovakia

 Purpose of role

• Support the IT Manager with the implementation of the Company’s ICT strategy. 
• To provide support to all PC/Laptop/Mobile users Globally across the Beck & Pollitzer Group. 

 Main responsibilities

• Ensure that all procedures and best practices are adhered to.
• Manage and monitor team workloads.
• Primary point of contact hardware and software technical support.
• Logging, prioritisation and escalation of support issues and requests.
• Develop and maintain good working relationships with our workforce to promote high level of service.
• Coaching, motivating, and retaining Staff.
• Visit depots or site offices in situations where hands-on assistance, upgrades or repairs are required.
• Installation and configuration of new PCs and laptops and recording details into IT equipment helpdesk/Asset management system.
• Testing and evaluation of new products or product upgrades.
• Repackaging of approved software to allow for automated deployment to end users.
• Provide assistance with the development, evaluation, integration and implementation of the IT infrastructure and associated systems within the Company.
• Procurement of approved hardware/software
• Logging of new equipment, moves and changes in IT equipment helpdesk/Asset management system.
• Assist with planning & installation of structured cabling where required at sites offices and depots. 
• Undertake installation and maintenance of ICT infrastructure, onsite or remotely.
• Routine systems administration tasks.

 Experience and qualifications required

 Essential

• Excellent understanding of TCP/IP and related network protocols.
• Experience of troubleshooting PC/Server Hardware and Software issues.
• Experience with the installation/maintenance of PC, Server and Mobile devices. 
• Experience of Windows operating systems.
• Experience of Windows Server, Active Directory, DNS & DHCP.
• Experience with Ethernet patching and cable management.
• Experience with Microsoft Azure Services
• Keen interest in Information Technology, Computer hardware and software.
• Willingness to travel.
• Manage and monitor team workloads
• The candidate must have excellent communications skills (Written and Verbal), have great attention to detail.

 Desirable

• Degree in Computer Science or related.
• Microsoft or other ICT certification.
• Scripting/Programming experience.
• Experience with Virtualisation including Hyper-V and VM Ware.
• Have a minimum of 2-3 years’ experience as a leader or manager of a team of at least three people

 Personal characteristics required

The successful ICT Support Team Leader will be a logical thinker, able to demonstrate problem solving skills in a time-efficient matter. They should have excellent interpersonal and communication skills, telephone manner, and a good command of the English language. 

They should be a polite, presentable individual, with a dynamic, go-getting attitude towards work. They should have ability to work well individually or as a team. They should be a punctual individual, with the ability to meet deadlines, prioritise multiple tasks, and administration skills should be of the highest standard.
