WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING DAY TO DAY

Your job will be to safeguard the quality & safety of all logistics processes to ensure that no damaged products reach the customer, to secure that the logistics operation is carried out according to regulations and mandatories, that procedures and follow-ups are implemented, and that warehouse is operating in compliance during all hours.

In this role, you will be a part of the Logistics team accountable for Warehouse operations and you will do:

  • Develop and use knowledge and experience of IKEA operations, including the IKEA tools and expertise of logistics colleagues, to achieve quality and safety standards at the warehouse.
     Contribute to the highest possible quality perception for customers by correct execution of the goods flow process, keeping customer-perceived availability in focus.
  • Asses the warehouse processes and operations in the areas of quality, health, safety, standard operating procedures. Develops corrective action and follow-up report executes.
  • Ensure daily operational inspections to secure that all equipment used in the warehouse fulfills local legal standards and IKEA standards.
  • Secure implementation of the Supply Quality “Detect-Correct-Report” way of working in all parts of warehouse operation (goods receiving, handling/internal transport, storage, replenishment, picking and customer delivery) with a zero-tolerance approach towards non-compliant goods meeting the customer (including follow up on IoS P0010, P0011 requirements and claims acceptance rate).
  • Execute SOP assessment, together with team leaders to develop corrective action and secure follow-up report. (SOP for Goods Handling (SOP4GH) (sharepoint.com))
  • Ensure that no damaged products reach the customer.
  • Secure that all quality incidents related to orders, damaged goods, or service provided by the warehouse would be declared.
  • Investigate every claim with an aim to find root course and together with team leaders to develop corrective action and secure follow-up report.
  • Assure daily truck body inspection
  • Create and update reports related to safety and quality on warehouse operations.
  • Accountable for Safety risk estimation for every new process/equipment or project in the warehouse.
  • Be responsible for SOP GH and procedures IoS P0010, P0011 including trainings and implementation.
  • Responsible for reporting, analyzing, corrective action developing and follow up reports for TT390 & TT391
  • Control the outbound schedule and investigate delay if it occurs.
  • Be the first point of contact for supply chain partners, including external service providers, in regard to quality-related topics, and challenge back in a cooperative approach.
  • For coworkers secure competence development and completion of mandatory trainings and education including confirmation of the learning related to health, safety and quality on a regular basis.

the workplace for this position will be within the warehouse, located in Brovary Ring Road area and accompanied with a new IKEA smart office, canteen, dressing room and other comfortable and cozy co-workers’ premises.
