Architectural and engineering firm in New York City has an immediate opening for a full-time motivated and talented AutoCAD draftsperson.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Proficient skills in AutoCAD to create Architectural Drawings for temporary structures such as sidewalk sheds, support scaffolds, and construction fences.
• Must have the ability to work independently while coordinating and prioritizing tasks with project team leaders.
• Work with principal engineer to make corrections to the drawings under tight deadlines.
• Ability to Read, Understand, and Compose Product/Design Specifications.

Requirements:

• Degree in Architecture, Interior Design, Building Technology, or related equivalent drafting experience.
• Minimum one years of professional experience.
• Proficient in AutoCAD is a MUST.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office.
• Active Verbal and Written Communication Skills.
• Candidate must have a good grasp of the English language.

Compensation — TBD upon interview, based on experience.
