Image Editing Team Lead

A fast-growing Irish Digital Content Gateway — they source digital product content from brands and transform it for online retailers using proprietary software. They are a growing company with an exciting product roadmap, and a rapidly expanding team across Ireland, Europe, and further afield. As their Image Processing Team Lead you will ensure that the content team who look after brand imagery (renaming, editing, and sequencing) runs smoothly and effectively.

Responsibilities

• Support Output — Part of your workload will be to process images and complete QA on images processed by your team.
• Maintain Quality Standards in image processing — Ensure that all images processed by the team meet requirements.
• Support Team Learning — Providing Photoshop and other image editing training to your team members to ensure they have the skills needed to do their job well.
• Improve Processes — Analyze workflow and suggest and/or implement improvements to workflow processes within the team to achieve the balance between speed + quality in image processing.
• Reporting — Report as needed to the Operations Lead and/or Management on the work of the Image team.
• Manage Schedules — manage the daily schedules of the team to ensure workload is balanced, and client deadlines are met.
• Document processes — Work to develop a library of How-To documentation for the image dept.
• Support Innovation — Use your knowledge and experience to help bring innovative solutions to how they work.
• Point of Contact + Support- be the point of contact and support for the Brand Outreach and Client Delivery teams when there are queries or comments on image processing requirements.

Required skills

• Fluent in English — written and oral
• Photoshop Expert — intermediate is not enough
• You are a digital native and navigate new websites and software quickly
• You are fluent in the use of MS Office suite — in particular, outlook for email
• You are fluent in Excel..for example you can perform a vlookup
• You are experienced with software like Dropbox, WeTransfer and similar
• You are available for a remote opportunity full-time
• You are well-organized, diligent and a self-starter who doesn’t need reminders
• You are friendly, helpful, and have a solution-oriented attitude
• Excellent communicator- very strong verbal and written communication skills in english
• Team player
• Eager to learn and innovate

As a plus

• Experience managing image workflow for retailers/ brands
• Experience in image workflow tools
• Experience using Trello
• Good sense of humour =)
