Team Lead: Market Research & Analysis

Room 8 Group is a video game holding company uniting highly focused expert teams that provide external game development services worldwide. We are looking for a Team Lead: Market Research & Analysis to bring new ideas and professional experience and help our professionals to grow. In this position, you will inspire teams and leaders to take action and make decisions by serving as the champion of market knowledge.

Requirements:

• Proven Market Research Analysis experience (in the IT industry, experience in the gaming industry is a huge plus);

• Ability to interpret large amounts of data and to multitask;

• Knowledge of a variety of different custom quantitative research methods;

• Extensive experience with multivariate techniques – when to use them and how to interpret the output;

• Knowledge of all operational and analytic components of the market research process;

• Mastery of both quantitative and qualitative research methods;

• Experience leading a high performing team of researchers/analytics;

• Experience visioning and leading end-to-end research, from scoping to planning, executing and reporting;

• In tune with the big picture, taking a strategic approach to research prioritization;

• Strong analytical and critical thinking skills, attention to details;

• Result-oriented, confident, self-motivation to achieve goals, flexibility;

• Comprehensive knowledge of Word, Excel, PowerPoint, CRM systems.

Responsibilities:

• Identify new market opportunities;

• Perform extensive market research, evaluate market penetration (each region and country);

• Create databases and capture market data;

• Conduct secondary research, including finding information from industry associations, statisticians and marketing experts;

• Generate reports for analyzing competition and customers;

• Benchmarking, continuous monitoring of new business trends, markets, services, and competitive intelligence;

• Combining all the gathered information into complete and comprehensive reports, that will give a straight and clear picture to the processes stakeholders;

• Monitor the activity of the competitors in services & solutions to increase competitive knowledge & identify unique features;

• Achieve a solid understanding of services & solutions by Room 8 Group, and reviewing the one that our competitors have;

• Monitoring private investment rounds for the companies in the Video Games Market;

• Mentoring, coaching and developing junior/middle staff,  improve their primary skills.
