Trade Finance Manager

Our client is an international independent oil trading company. With its highly experienced team, the company creates trading, logistical and financial solutions for its international supplier and customer base.

Main responsibilities:

• Provide financial follow-up and updates to banks once deals are placed;

• Responsible for the review of import LCs and export LC prepared by the Operation department;

• Follow-up receivables payment and documents to be presented through the banking channel or directly to the counterparties;

• Review financial clauses of contracts issued by the operations / contract desk whenever needed;

• Liaise with the trading department about financing costs related to specific deals;

• Calculate and input the financing costs in a CTRM system;

• Keep financial information about trades up to date in our trade finance position;

• Prepare calculation of late interest penalties to be raised to clients and issue invoices.

Main requirements:

• 2+ years of experience in a Trade Finance position within a commodity trading company;

• You are a solution finder with excellent communication skills;

• English – upper-intermediate level;

• Hard working, good team work; sense of initiative;

• Excel proficient, VBA macro is a plus.
