middle /senior PHP developer (Drupal or Silverstripe)

Our client is an Australian based data-driven technology agency specialising in strategy and product innovation, technology and platform development, business analytics and out-staffing.  We are looking for experienced MIDDLE PHP DEVELOPER, who is eager for challenges and willing to work in an international company. 

We are looking for proactive people, team players passionate about programming in this language and oriented to provide the best experience to the end user. 

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the team members to understand the client requirements

• Coordinate with the design team for the mockups and wireframes

• Write clean and well-structured codes

• Produce detailed technical product descriptions

• Troubleshoot, test and maintain the core product software along with the databases to ensure strong functionality and optimization

• Contribute to all the software development phases

• Follow the industry’s best practices for writing clean code

• Develop and deploy the latest features that facilitate the relevant tools and procedures if required

• Improve the code-base of our products in a significant manner

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or  Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Software Engineering or related field 

• 2+ years of experience as PHP Developer, Software Developer, Web Developer or related roles

• Knowledge of open-source projects such as Drupal, Silverstripe

• Exceptional knowledge of object-oriented design and related concepts

• Update on the latest web technologies including HTML, CSS, AJAX, JavaScript, etc.

• Experienced in implementing the common 3rd party APIs such as Facebook, Google, etc.

• Knowledge of developing web services will be preferred

• Should possess a passion for coding practices and best designs

• Strong- interpersonal skills and attention to details 

• Highly motivated, result oriented & have excellent communication and presentation skills

• Excellent written and verbal English skills
