Tax Planning Analyst

Philip Morris Ukraine is looking for a Tax Planning Analyst. This is an exciting role that provides full tax support to business partners as well as offering scope for leadership of individual projects.

Responsibilities 

• Tax advisory and trainings to the organization;
• Identify areas of potential tax risks, contribute to defining defense positions and strategies;
• Business support via contracts review and contribution to business projects;
• Monitor all changes in Ukrainian tax legislation and timely provide updates to the management;
• Contribute to developing local Tax compliance policy and procedures.

Qualifications

Minimum qualifications:

• University degree in Finance, Accounting and Audit or Economics;
• Minimum 3 years of experience in Taxation;
• Confident MS Office and MS Excel user; 
• Strong knowledge Tax concepts; 
• Good Accounting knowledge;
• Fluent Ukrainian and Russian, English - Upper-Intermediate;
• Impeccable business judgment, with the ability to motivate colleagues and collaborate effectively to help influence senior leadership;
• Excellent quantitative, written, and presentation skills; innovative, organized, thorough. Eagerness to further develop these skills.

Preferred qualifications:

• ACCA certification;
• Work experience in Big 4;
• Experience with SAP, IAS, US GAAP.
