Middle/Senior QA Engineer

The mission of Intel 471 is to protect your organization, your products, your assets and your people. We are building an actor-focused cyber threat intelligence SaaS product. From the customer perspective, we offer an online portal and API that allows them to consume, query, analyze and visualize multiple sources of cyber threat intelligence information. 

Intel 471 is looking for a Middle/Senior QA Engineer to join our world-class team. The role is located in Kyiv on a remote basis.

Key Duties & Responsibilities:

• Establishing testing process and constantly improving it
• Checking data in databases using custom SQL queries
• Editing XPath selectors if necessary
• Analyzing monitoring data and detecting issues
• Testing new features and bug fixes
• Conducting manual tests and investigating results
• Doing manual verification and reporting bugs
• Potential participation in test automation

Education, Experience & Qualifications: 

• Prioritization, fast switching between tasks
• Ability to determine requirements, decompose complex tasks and requirements into atomic cases
• In-depth knowledge of QA methodologies
• Experience with web applications
• Able to think outside the box, and open to learning and improving skills
• Be confident and able to fully converse in English for day to day communication
• See the task at hand broadly, discover and analyze possible solutions with the end-user in mind
• Be self-motivated and able to work independently in an agile environment
• Willing to work in the security or intelligence industry
• Experience in test cases and checklist creation
• Knowledge of SQL syntax
• Experience with Git, Docker
• Basic knowledge of Linux/Unix
• Knowledge of the client-server architecture

Would be a plus:

• Experience in automation testing
• Knowledge of python 
• Command of continuous integration tools (Jenkins, etc)
• Experience in API testing
• Knowledge of XPath / CSS selectors
• Testing of scrapers
