Telecom Market Manager Assistant

Areas of responsibility

• Manage and support routing processes, determine prices, check cost increases/decreases, send agreed volume commitments, monitor regional quality of outbound voice in order to realize and optimize overall regional profitability, quality & network utilization for all outbound voice services and products
• Update pricing for all wholesale voice products in order to increase destination and regional margins, and optimize BICS’s international transit market share by implementing net cost base structure, and efficient network utilization
• Align with Regional Manager to implement routing strategies incorporating cost, commitments/agrements agreements, capacity, quality and other parameters to support BICS international wholesale product and strategy, and to ensure the best routing and traffic management with maximized profitability and highest possible quality levels
• Take the lead in defining the country strategies for the countries that are fully managed by you.
• Support all sales activities carried out by Account Management and act as a liaison for Account Management information requirements
• Participate with Account Managers in negotiations with the bilateral agreements and swaps when needed
• Monitor that all information (such as costs, prices, margins) are correctly reflected in the tools and reports. Inform the responsible person to have it corrected, and follow up on the result
• Active participation & full support in projects to ensure proper IT development and appropriate process reengineering to achieve “Best in Class” back office operations and support systems

Qualifications

• Graduate level
• 2 years business experience in wholesale voice in telecoms industry
• Good business sense
• Good analytical skills
• Innovative & creative thinking
• Good communication skills
• Making sure all work is done in time and in right order, with an eye for detail
• Customer focus – to make right decisions
• Peer relationships – getting things done through influence and helping peers achieve their objectives
• Proficient in English
