DESCRIPTION

EPAM is participating in development of an IoT platform with various connectivity technical solutions, firmware for network connected devices, native mobile application with IoT and e-commerce functionality. There are several development streams which needs technical leadership, guidance and support around various solutions. In addition to this it is expected participation in planning and sprint activities and meetings.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Work with various technical and product stakeholders to identify technical requirements and their priorities
• Develop technical documentation for Development/DevOps/AQA teams
• Work with the development teams helping them with both future and current tasks to understand the scope
• Develop and deliver on time and with high quality
• Create technical tasks and documentation
• Govern technical documentation 
• Conducting new feature research and POCs
• Design/white-boarding sessions for/with architect team
• Collect non-functional requirements
• Conduct API specification development and negotiation with API consumer development teams
• Convene code reviews of critical parts
• Analyze initial root cause of defects/issues and delegate to team
• Carry out DevOps team technical guidance and tasks creation

REQUIREMENTS

• 5+ years’ experience in Solution Architecture 
• Being able to quickly learn and build solutions on top of new technologies within Azure/AWS/Google cloud
• End to End thinking: design, develop, test, release and handover
• Being able to support several development teams with different scope at the same time
• Actual production and hands-on experience with Azure Cloud, .NET Core (C#), REST API
• Hands on experience with Azure services like Event Hub, Service Bus, Azure functions, CosmosDB
• Okay to work in a team environment with flexible structure and regularly changing priorities
• Able to work with distributed teams
• Be proactive in all activities to drive team technically
• Ability to communicate with technical and product stakeholders
• Experience working with both technical and business stakeholders
• Extensive experience developing and constantly updating technical documentation
• Upper-Intermediate or higher English level, both spoken and written (B2+)

NICE TO HAVE

• Hands on experience with ASP.NET Core and Azure services like IoT Hub/IoT Central, SignalR, API Management, AppInsights
• Experience designing and developing highly available and scalable systems
• Able to read and understand code written in Python.
