Business Intelligence Engineer

The DZH Agency is a software development house based in Ukraine, Kharkiv. We do full-cycle mobile, web development, custom software, and also provide design services. Most of our clients are from the European market. For 2 years we've been serving different industries, such as Fin-tech, Healthcare, Education.

Our client is a retail company existing for more than 80 years, located in Germany. They have 5 brands: products for children, clothes, toys, learning products digital, concepts for interior design, learning for children programs.

We are looking for Business Intelligence Engineer to join BI team.

This is a long-term, full-time remote position.

Requirements:

• 3+ years of experience using BI and ETL tools of the Microsoft BI stack and/or SAP Business Objects
• 3+ years of experience with relational databases and SQL
• Good data modeling skills (relational and dimensional) as well as profound experience in the ETL environment - Experience in the creation of reports and visualization of business metrics
• English level - written and spoken
• Ability to work in a team, resilience, and assertiveness
• Successfully completed studies in (business) informatics or business administration

Responsibilities:

• Participation in an agile and self-organized BI team
• Design and development of applications, ETL/ELT routes, data models and best practices for sustainable BI solutions as well as modeling of cubes
• Shared responsibility with the team for the entire development process - from requirements gathering, design and implementation to stable productive operation of the developed solutions
• Quality assurance and optimization of existing processes through the use of innovative technologies to support digital transformation
• Design and development of reports according to requirements as well as technical contact for the recipients of the reporting system
• Active co-design and further development of the BI architecture of the cross-company reporting system.
