DevOps/System administrator

We are looking for an experienced DevOps/System administrator who will join the current team.

Requirements:

• 1+ years of proven experience as a System Administrator, Network Administrator, or similar role;

• English level - Intermediate or higher;

• Extensive experience with AWS;

• Experience with databases, networks (LAN, WAN), and patch management;

• Familiarity with Linux/Unix operating systems;

• Information Technology, Computer Science or a related discipline educational degree; 

• Professional certification (e.g., Microsoft Certified Systems Administrator (MCSA)) will be a plus;

• Excellent communication skills;

• Resourcefulness and problem-solving aptitude;

• MacOS, Windows, iOS, Android will be a big plus;

Responsibilities:

• Support existing cloud services;

• Provide technical support for both hardware and software issues our users encounter;

• Manage network servers and technology tools;

• Perform  physical installation and basic maintenance of network devices;

• Set up accounts and workstations;

• Monitor performance and maintain systems according to requirements;

• Troubleshoot issues and outages;

• Ensure security through access controls, backups, and firewalls;

• Upgrade systems with new releases and models;

• Develop expertise to train staff on new technologies;

• Build an internal wiki with technical documentation, manuals and IT policies.
