Learning and Development Officer

We are growing and looking for a Learning and Development Officer!

You will coordinate the development, delivery, and evaluation of staff learning and development programs. Also, will administrate council’s online Learning Management System (LMS) and ensuring systematic capture of corporate training records and data, and develop and facilitate relevant “in-house” training sessions/programs.

Responsibilities:

• Helping agents succeed and making sure the transition to operations;
• Working with new projects (creating a training plan, knowledge base, product training, and soft skills training, helping agents succeed by supporting them throughout the first 90 days);
• Maintaining existing projects ( identifying skill gaps, soft skills training);
• Creation and development of EOD reports for customers.

Skills and Qualifications:

• Strong English communication both written and verbal;
• 2+ years of experience in similar positions;
• Tertiary qualifications (diploma or degree) in a relevant discipline or significant experience in the area of training and development;
• Demonstrated experience in developing and evaluating training programs;
• Experience administering an online Learning Management System (LMS);
• Proficient in the use of Google Sheets;
• Experience in delivering training facilitation (new hire, recurrent, upskill, soft skills);
• Strong organizational skills;
• Strong people skills;
• Experience in building training curricula and materials.
