Business Development Specialist (B1-B2 English)

Working behind the scenes to fuel our own expansion are our Business Development Specialists, in collaboration with our Sales team. Smart, creative, and determined, they approach prospects in a professional and deliberate way with the aim to create customized and relevant solutions that secure new business opportunities. The role is based out of Ukraine, with the requirement to work in a hybrid office concept, balancing remote work and in-office time. We align our working hours with the time zones of our American clients.

What you’ll do

  • Domain Knowledge

Develop a high level of knowledge and understanding of Pharmbills’ business model, the business landscape, and the value proposition for clients.

Conduct market research to focus the sales and marketing strategy. Build prospective client profiles, including knowledge of the services they need and key decision makers in the respective businesses. 

Manage marketing reporting to generate insights and learnings to improve the sales strategy and support future success.

  • Initiative: 

Identify prospects and generate quality leads.

Create a database of contacts.

Build a strong sales pipeline, and keep it updated.

Use social media, cold calling etc. to reach out to prospects and initiate deals.

Set up in-person meetings for our US Sales Representatives, and provide the necessary support to structure, negotiate and close deals.

Contribute to the development of marketing campaigns and materials.

  • Client Service

Respond to queries from prospects promptly and accurately.

Attend sales calls, as necessary.

Build good relationships with prospect clients.

  • Teamwork: 

Partner effectively with colleagues in the Sales team. Aim to consistently deliver high quality leads/outreach efforts, mindful of the impact of your contribution to the sales process. 

Demonstrate openness to feedback and willingness to learn.

Promote the sharing of information amongst the team.

What you’ll need

  •  1+ years’ experience in the general business space.

Experience in business development/sales is a plus.

Experience in IT sales, online sales, selling outstaffing services, selling to international markets will be a distinct advantage.

  •  Good command of English intermediate/B1 level. Fluency in Ukrainian, Russian.
  • Organizational Skills: establishes correct processes and procedures to achieve business objectives; excellent time management skills with the ability to meet performance targets within tight deadlines.
  • Attention to detail: works with a high degree of accuracy and thoroughness.
  • Analytical skills: builds a logical approach to address issues and opportunities.
  • Stress Tolerance: functions well in a high-paced and, at times, stressful environment.
  • Emotional Intelligence: has a keen awareness of self and others, manages conflict and interpersonal issues effectively.
  • Tech savvy: ability to quickly learn new technologies e.g., proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite Outlook, Teams, Excel and G-Suite.
