Senior Accountant

Requirements: 

• Great interpersonal abilities, communication skills, and C1 English level, in order to be able to work in our international finance team based in the US. 
• University degree in Accounting or Finance 
• 3 years experience in public accounting or international company’s accounting/finance department 
• Ability to plan and execute responsibilities, and research issues with minimal direction 
• Excellent command in spoken and written English. 
• Good understanding of Finance (including accruals, allocations, and general ledger) 
• You are deadline and detail oriented  
• Have experience using finance software, Netsuite preferred 
• Be able to work with and communicate with customers  

Responsibilities: 

• Ensures the integrity of accounting information by recording, verifying, consolidating, and entering transactions. 
• Prepares and records asset, liability, revenue, and expenses entries by compiling and analyzing account information. 
• Maintains and balances subsidiary accounts by verifying, allocating, posting, and reconciling transactions and resolving discrepancies. 
• Maintains general ledger by transferring subsidiary accounts, preparing a trial balance, and reconciling entries. 
• Summarizes financial status by collecting information and preparing balance sheets, profit and loss, and other statements. 
• Completes external audits by analyzing and scheduling general ledger accounts and providing information for auditors. 
• Avoids legal challenges by complying with legal requirements. ·       Secures financial information by completing database backups. 
• Protects organization’s value by keeping information confidential. 
• Is responsible for being our BillPay expert/SME to make sure our customer’s bills are being paid on time and that their AP is reconciled
