NPI Buyer (Закупівельник на виробництво)

Job Description

Position of NPI Buyer will be located in Mukachevo, Ukraine.

Candidate selected for the role will be responsible for coordination activities involved with procuring indirect materials for new projects.

Here is a glimpse of what you’ll do…

• Coordination and implementation of ECO changes, new products or end-of-life products in accordance with Customer specific requirements.
• Prime interface to Customer in regards to Supply chain activities for NPI/TPI/EOL/ECO.
• Responsible for efficient communication flow about progress of every NPI/TPI/EOL/ECO related project within SC, CFT and with Customer (including Customer/Supplier visits/meetings and calls)
• New Supply chain related processes implementation (exceptions, new requirements, special agreements with Customer etc.) for NPI/TPI/EOL/ECO.
• Coordination and implementation of ECO changes within SC in accordance to Customer specific requirements
• Coordination transfers of new products in accordance to Customer specific requirements
• Coordinating end-of-life process in accordance to Customer specific requirements (including minimizing obsolete, revaluation)
• Coordinating verification of new MPN/Supplier on production (First Article Inspection - FAI procedure)
• Responsible/Co-ordination of preparing material RFQ, as applicable, (Request for quotation for new Bill Of Material and for all new Engineering Change Order /ECO), reviews and analyses new offers from suppliers
• Responsible/Co-ordination of preparing Costed Bill of Materials, as required, (CBOM) for Customer approval and system set up to release Purchase Orders
• Controlling AMLs and maintaining T&C for new items (collecting and maintaining data, solving discrepancies with Customer, requests for deviations to Customer etc.)Purchasing material status for prototypes/pilots.
• Managing changes in deliveries status according to agreed rescheduling rules with Customer and negotiating minimized impact for Flex excess
• Solving all material discrepancies related to parts delivered for prototypes/pilots with Customer

Here is some of what you’ll need…

• University or college degree in a related field or equivalent experience;
• 1-3+ years experience in commodity purchasing roles - must be hands on!
• Accurate, data-driven, logical , and analytical
• Intermediate English, Ukrainian
