This role was created to accelerate GSK performance in online channels. Digital Commerce Manager will drive country eCommerce Strategy, Action Plan as well as capabilities that will help GSK achieve leading position in Digital Channels.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead development of new online sales channel
  • Lead the development of eCommerce activation plan
  • Responsible for implementation and utilization of available e-commerce tools to drive sales growth
  • Responsible for designing solutions for maximizing sales conversion of digital communication.
  • Responsible for creation of dedicated e-commerce sales plans considering product and channel specific and market analysis
  • Responsible for design of e-commerce joint business planning with Key Market partners.
  • Recommends online sales programs and activities to achieve sales and profit goals.
  • Managing FCP framework in country, ensuring strong focus on product presence and visibility in e-commerce channel
  • Responsible for performance & e-commerce sales reporting


Basic requirements:

  • Education - University Degree
  • Min 2 year in Digital commerce (e-com), leading operators in the   on-line sales/Digital media areas at big international company, FMCG
  • English – Fluent
  • Negotiation – important to align GSK strategy with clients
  • Marketing – important is situation assessment, FCP deployment, connection of customer plans to Digital/Media campaigns
  • Must be able to work with both individually and with an intimate team as well as being comfortable at multi-tasking
  • Dealing with complexity and identifying solutions
  • Preparation of compelling business cases
  • Maintain working knowledge of best practices in sales
  • Excellent written and verbal communications skills

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Operational tasks including online products integration, control, management, logistics follow-up
  • Very experienced with online markets
  • Supervision of online customer service and manage CRM software such as salesforce.
  • Provide back-up to customer service related issues through telephone, written and emailed correspondence
  • Analyze current business trends and propose ideas to increase traffic and sales.
  • Analyze customs behavior on the site, including customer navigation, on-site search, checkout flow etc.
  • Present suggestions and ideas to increase conversation and overall customer satisfaction
  • Coordinate marketing for all online marketplaces, including promotional opportunities, pricing optimization, content creation
  • Create oversee and respond to all affiliate marketing, social media, retargeting and paid search campaign and administrative needs
