Junior Manual QA Engineer (IRC114141)

GlobalLogic Ukraine is inviting a Junior Manual QA Engineer to join its Lviv office.

The client is a pioneer in cardio medical devices for less invasive surgical procedures, ranking as a leader in the market for coronary stents. The company’s medical devices are used in a variety of interventional medical specialties, including interventional cardiology, peripheral interventions, vascular surgery, electrophysiology, neurovascular intervention, oncology, endoscopy, urology, gynecology, and neuromodulation.

The client is developing a Cardiac Monitor to monitor patients for a variety of cardiac arrhythmias. An Android or iOS smartphone will be used to transfer diagnostic data from a patient’s implanted monitoring device to a server for clinician review.  The smartphone application is considered medical device software that must meet quality system regulations.

The client’s mission is to improve the quality of patient care and the productivity of health care delivery through the development and advocacy of less-invasive medical devices and procedures. This is accomplished through the continuing refinement of existing products and procedures and the investigation and development of new technologies that can reduce risk, trauma, cost, procedure time, and the need for aftercare.

Requirements:

• 1-2 years of work experience in software testing (enterprise applications is a plus)
• Experienced with QA methodologies, processes, and tools
• Understanding of quality assurance  and product quality
• Ability to perform tests against Mobile applications
• Knowledge in testing specifications
• Basic experience with Defect tracking tools
• Good English (writing and speaking)
• Self-starter with excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as strong attention to detail.
