Business Controller

Home Group is looking for Business Controller to contribute to overall business results by improving the effectiveness and efficiency of business processes. Business Controller will be based at operations in Rivne region (1000+ employees), will report directly to Chief Finance Officer of the Group (expatriate) and will be assigned to Chief Accountant of the Rivne factory. In this role Business Controller will closely cooperate with matrix Finance Team in Eastern Europe.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate monthly management reporting of Group entities ensuring proper quality and timing.
• Preparing or / and coordinating preparation of various management reports based on the needs of the Group.
• Analysis of accounting and business data.
• Research technical accounting issues for compliance, proposing improvements to accounting and management systems.
• Developing and documenting, monitoring, and enforcing business processes and accounting policies and procedures to maintain and strengthen internal controls.
• Contribute to special projects as required.

Profile

• Male/female Senior professional with 5+ years of experience in accounting and/or finance preferably in industrial organization.
• Accounting / finance or business degree, thorough knowledge of accounting principles and procedures.
• Experience leading people for at list 2+ years, strong organizational and management skills.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and a team player.
• English language at Upper-Intermediate level and fluency in Ukrainian language.
• Ability to see the big picture while focusing on the processes and procedures necessary to produce deliverable.
• Meticulous attention to detail and accuracy in work product, good analytical skills.
• Ability to meet and establish deadlines.
• Flexibility and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
• Intermediate to advanced applications software expertise (Excel and accounting software).
• Readiness for extensive travelling (2 weeks per month).
