Technical Writer (IRC110036)

GlobalLogic Ukraine is inviting a Technical Writer to join its Kyiv office.

We’re building a very popular and fast-growing OTT streaming platform, which serves movies, series, news, and entertainment content (both linear and on-demand) in multiple countries and continents across the globe.

Requirements:

 As an individual contributor you will need to provide proven expertise in the following areas:

• Experience using revision control for documentation – Confluence, Wikis, etc.

• Experience writing technical documentation and ghost-writing.

• Conversational verbal skills for the English language.

• Excellent written skills for the English language

• Experience with the following would be helpful.

• Markdown

• SwaggerHub

• Ability to read and understand software programming language(s).

Preferences:

• JavaScript, GOlang Programming language

Responsibilities:

• As a Technical Writer, you will be expected to work with a team of engineers to support an industry-leading Over-the-Top (OTT) software platform.

• You will attend regular sprint meetings, and work closely with engineers to add and update various types of documentation (onboarding, technical, knowledgebase, etc), and provide ghost-writing opportunities for technical blogs and publications.

• In this role, you will be considered to be 100% autonomous for day-to-day work.
