Senior JavaScript Full Stack Developer (Social Shopping Platform)

CUSTOMER

Our customer is from the UK. The company owns a global marketplace for the fashion industry that allows users to sell customized or rare clothes and accessories. It provides a way to recycle unwanted items for money.

The customer is pretty successful, has raised more than 100 million USD of investments since the project has more than 15 million active users.

PROJECT

The project is a social shopping platform - a mix of retail and social network platforms. Users have profile pages where they can post pictures and descriptions of what they are selling and their price. Generally, a platform specializes in clothes retail. Posts can contain hashtags and additional information to make searching for items more comfortable.

You will be a part of the community experience team. Overall, the main task is to produce the most evocative buying and selling experience for users.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Code, develop unit and integration tests, debug, document, implement, and maintain portions of the software
• Participate in estimation and planning sessions
• Perform code reviews for compliance with best engineering practices, coding standards, and quality criteria set forth on the project
• Work with the team to determine requirements
• Communicate with customers POs and other teams

REQUIREMENTS

• At least 4 years experience working in Front End development
• At least 3 years of experience with ReactJS
• Strong experience with Node.js
• Experience with TypeScript Expert level in OOP Design Principles
• Experience in writing unit tests Experience in Software design, Source Code Structure, documentation
• At least Upper-Intermediate level of English
