Java Full Stack Developer

Skelia is looking for strong Java Full Stack Developer for long-term and full-time employment at its service center in Lviv, Ukraine. Within a superb team in an international working environment, where you’ll be working for a leading player in transportation management software headquartered in Brussels and Vienna.

YOUR PROFILE

• 4+ years of experience in Java development
• Hands on experience with Angular v8+
• Experience with Git, Maven build scripts & Jenkins  
• Experience with Atlassian Products (e.g. Jira, Confluence, Bitbucket)  
• Experience with TDD and pull requests 
• Experience with cloud and the services offered by a cloud platform (preferably Azure) 
• Experience with Openshift/Kubernetes to deploy applications is nice to have
• Experience in software development on agile teams using Agile Developer practices 
• Familiarity with PostgreSQL
• Knowledge of Spring Boot applications & JPA (Hibernate) will be a plus
• High level of spoken and written English
• Team player with good communication skills

YOUR MISSION

• Design, code and test stories for the product based on an Agile methodology, including use of user stories, acceptance criteria and other system engineering artefacts as part of an Agile team
• Ensure that developed code is maintainable, efficient, reliable, understandable, secure and fault tolerant  
• Help design a software architecture for new systems or upgrades to existing systems using best-of-breed web-based technologies  
• Know secure software development principles and techniques and apply them 
• Use software tools in cooperation with continuous integration and test automation while supporting software reuse and refactoring
• Interface with software engineers, system engineers, quality assurance, and other products team members to deliver the stories
• Provide Technical Support for the customers inquiries and technical problems resolution from the live application on occasions as third level of support  
• Have a focus on the Front End (Angular v8+) code but be able to help out the other side when needed
