Trainee Android/C++ Software Engineer (IRC111447)

GlobalLogic Ukraine is inviting a Trainee Android/C++ Software Engineer to join its Kyiv office.

Our customer is international car manufacture with a headquarter in Vietnam. The Company is working on high-quality, cutting-edge, and comprehensive integrated cockpit and automotive computing platforms.

Requirements:

Must-Have

• BA, MS degree in software engineering, computer science, or another related field
• 0.5+ years of experience in software development
• Knowledge of C/C++
• Knowledge of Linux (as a user)
• Understanding/experience in GIT will be a plus
• Spoken and writing English (at least pre-intermediate)
  

Nice-to-Have

• Experience in development or integration for the embedded systems will be a major plus
• Knowledge and experience in development on Linux will be a major plus
• Experience in C++ development on Android/Android NDK will be a major plus
• Knowledge and experience in multithreading

Preferences:

• Android (AOSP), Android NDK, Embedded

Responsibilities:

• Contribute to the development and bug-fixing of the Android/Linux-specific features on the OS level.
• Contribute to the performance analysis and optimization of the existing system.
• Contribute to HAL development.
• Porting customer-specific features to the newest Android versions.
• Cooperate with other teams worldwide to follow up product development and integration with other solutions.
