DESCRIPTION

Currently we are looking for a Senior Accountant for our global shared services team to make our team even stronger.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• US GAAP bookkeeping of specific types of activities (primarily, accruals and prepayments) for a number of EPAM subsidiaries
• Monthly accounting close of these subsidiaries in SAP in accordance with established procedure
• Monthly BS&PL variance analysis of these subsidiaries
• Investigation of correct accounting of irregular, specific operations of these subsidiaries
• Monthly accounting and reconciliation of expenses related to corporate cards in accordance with established procedure
• Communications with local accountants on bookkeeping issues and process improvement on regular conference calls
• Dealing with audit requests and participating in regular meetings with external and internal auditors
• Participating in regular improvement process activities with IT development team, active analysis of areas of improvement and testing of new improvements

REQUIREMENTS

• Finance/Accounting background
• Knowledge and understanding of international accounting
• ACCA/DipIFR (advantage)
• Minimum 2 years accounting working experience
• Working knowledge of SAP (advantage), other ERP systems
• Good knowledge of English (Intermediate level at least)
• Good MS office skills, especially Excel skills
• Attentiveness to details

• Ability to work and make decisions independently
