Java Team Lead, Communications Solutions

The client is an American company that's working in the communications solutions industry focused on large companies and corporations. They specialize in services for sending voice and text messages, notifications, organizing online conferences, alerts about natural disasters, creating interactive voice menus and newsletters, sending messages on a schedule, etc.

Development is conducted using a comprehensive stack of technologies: Java8, SpringBoot, Gradle, Oracle, Cassandra, Redis, RabbitMQ. The system's features are continuously expanding and getting supplemented with new opportunities as per requests of the company's customers.

Note that we hire specialists not to the project, but to the company. If the project is over, or you become uncomfortable in it, you can discuss a transition to another project.

Required Skills and Experience

• 5+ years of experience in development using Java
• Experience in development of applications using Java Enterprise platform
• Experience working with databases (SQL and NoSQL)
• Experience in object-oriented programming (OOP), object-oriented design (OOD), and design patterns
• Experience using test-driven development (TDD)
• Experience using IoC containers
• Knowledge of build tools (Gradle)
• Data migration experience
• Experienced team worker
• Spoken English

Additional Competencies

• Knowledge of JavaScript frameworks (React.js)
• Experience using Continuous Integration systems (Gitlab CI)
• Experience using microservices
• Experience using Kubernetes
• Experience in object-relational mapping (ORM)
• Experience working with Spring MVC
