Platforms CoE (Center of Excellence) is the ecosystem of Consultants, Developers, Architect, and Experts within various Platforms, including Salesforce, Sitecore, Magento, Shopify and others.
Our team provides the following major services to both internal and external clients: technical support during the sales process, proposals creation, architecture design, estimation, technology assessments, and comparisons, prototyping (technical, functional, and non-functional), discovery phases execution, projects implementation, troubleshooting, and crisis management activities.
We are looking for an experienced Technical Communicator to join the teams of API management and eCommerce practices at CoE Platforms. You will be responsible for designing, creating, maintaining, and updating information via presentations, infographics, posts, videos and One-pagers.
YOU ARE
Our perfect candidate has a grip on the business aspect of the client’s products and delivering all kinds of user assistance. You are to communicate with system-oriented developers and business-oriented stakeholders effectively, drive full-dress investigation before getting down to presenting your findings to the audience, and organize various types of information into self-contained pieces.
Requirements
- 1-2 years of working experience as a Technical Communicator, Technical Writer, or Information Engineer
- Advanced or proficient level of English
- Outstanding written and spoken communication skills
- Experience in the estimation, aligning, and managing own tasks
- Background of Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, and Excel)
- Basic knowledge about the concept of HTML, CSS, and XML
- Attention to details, striving to immerse in technical peculiarities
- Flexibility and responsibility
- Ability to work in a team and individually
The following experience is an advantage
- Authoring tools like Adobe Technical Communication Suite, MadCap Flare, Confluence, or Zendesk
- Knowledge of plain English guidelines and international writing standards (Microsoft, Apple, etc.)
- Skill in working in screen-capturing and video development tools
- Agile (Scrum) methodology
- Ability to develop API guides, maintain available API portals
- Capability of operating with source control and API execution tools

- Identify project and documentation requirements to produce corresponding user assistance

- Create templates for online or printed documentation
- Create and update both end-user and developer documentation
- Develop complex technical illustrations (diagrams, workflows, and similar)
- Arrange product documentation a way to ensure usability and convenient navigation
- Wrest information from SMEs and ensure that they provide technical review of your content
- Cooperate with the client to elicit requirements, validate and approve your work at main stages of documentation development life cycle
- Perform editorial review of the documentation created by another TC
- Create and style presentations, develop templates for them
- Develop complex simulation or simple interactive videos
