Senior Frontend Developer (TypeScript/React)

Our client is a security startup on a mission to stop large and small data leaks, especially those caused by careless or malicious insiders. They’ve got first-of-a-kind technology that sees through everything insiders could do to steal the data, detecting data exfiltration and providing precise human-readable explanation of what has happened and how. Our tech is formerly sponsored by the U.S. Department of Defense’s DARPA agency and the Swiss government. We’re working with some of the largest companies in the world to help them stop leaks ranging from innocuous product specs leaks to the press, to serious industrial espionage.

About the Senior Frontend Developer Role

We’re looking for an experienced frontend developer to help drive and evolve our SaaS product. We are working with the latest industry standard stack: material-ui, Reach Router, React, Redux, Emotion, D3, etc. For testing we use React-testing-library, Jest, Puppeteer, and Cypress. You will be an early contributor to the product and will solve attractive technical challenges:

• implement a state-of-the-art web-based management console that’s at the core of our product
• work on complex and dynamic visualisations
• improve the user experience together with our UI/UX design team
• work closely with the client’s core development team
• Frequently communicate with the local engineering team in Kiev and the remote engineering team in Lausanne, Switzerland, as well as company founders and executives in Boston, USA

Requirements

• 4+ years experience in frontend engineering: coding, testing, debugging, and automating complex TypeScript applications using React
• strong knowledge in latest frontend libraries
• love to work with complex visualisations
• good grip of basic data structures and algorithms
• learn new technologies quickly and are eager to do so
• ability to clearly describe API requirements
• experience working with a backend team
• Good level of English language
