Technical Writer

For more than 3 years we have been organizing sports tournaments, broadcasts, and developing our own sports community. We hold 20+ thousand events per month in esports and classic sports.
BETER products are known all over the world — there are 152 countries with an audience of 20+ million viewers.

We make a product using technology and entertainment.
To stay at the top positions in our niche, we write software for our needs, relying on data: tools for organizing and managing tournaments, analytical tools, our own CRM.

As a technical writer at BETER, you will be working on the entire list of our products and have various tasks — from creating developer-oriented documentation to preparing an online knowledgebase for users.
Most of our documentation is written in Russian or Ukrainian.

Requirements:

• Proven working experience in technical writing of software documentation
• Ability to deliver high-quality documentation paying attention to detail
• Ability to quickly grasp complex technical concepts and make them easily understandable in text and pictures
• Perfect knowledge and writing skills in Russian and Ukrainian
• Good written skills in English
• Basic familiarity with the SDLC and software development
• Effective prioritization and management of tasks from different projects
• Attention to details
• Autonomy at work

Would be an advantage:

• University degree in Computer Science, Engineering or equivalent preferred
• Experience of sports betting products description

Responsibilities:

• Work with internal teams to obtain an in-depth understanding of the product and the documentation requirements
• Produce high-quality documentation that meets applicable standards and is appropriate for its intended audience
• Write easy-to-understand user interface text, online help and developer guides
• Create tutorials to help end-users use a variety of applications
• Create technical specifications for our legal department
• Analyze existing and potential content, focusing on reuse and single-sourcing opportunities
• Create and maintain the knowledge base
