Chief Accountant

US Global FMCG Company is looking for Chief Accountant

Core responsibilities:

• Maintain and consolidate the company’s accounting books according to the statutory regulations
• Manage tax accounting in accordance with UA tax legislation
• Preparation and submission of statutory financial, statistic, and tax reports
• Payroll calculation, related accounting, and reporting HR documentation preparation is excluded
• Prepare necessary reports for monthly/quarterly/year-end closing for both local and management books
• Corporate income tax calculation and Corporate Tax reporting
• Reconciliation of Management and Local books
• Participation in the project transition of SAP accounting system to the new platform, manage the transition for local statutory and tax accounting, Support Finance Manager on other project matters                                        
• Prepare Statutory and Tax reports and submit them to State Authorities
• Ensure proper documentation support as per Tax code for all accounting entries
• Provide consulting on taxation matter to other departments Customer Development, Customer Service and Logistics, Marketing, HR and others, including agreements review
• Participation in month closing Accruals for payroll, fixed expenses, deferred expenses, CIT calculation and posting, Tax reporting to the Corporate, GL reconciliation
• Development and implementation of activity for improving accounting in reporting processes
• 2 subordinate accountants +1 temporary accountant during SAP project

Required hard skills:

• Knowledge of national accounting standards                                        Knowledge and application practice of the Tax Code of Ukraine
• PC literacy: SAP, 1C, MS Office          
• English pre-intermediate

Required soft skills:

• Strong analytical skills
• Must be proactive, prompt, precise, and oriented on problem-solving          

Necessary experience:

• Preparation of Statutory and Tax reporting including Transfer Pricing Report
• Payroll calculation, related accounting, and reporting
• Import-export transactions
• Experience with inter-company operations and other agreements with non-residents, including royalty, dividends, and other repatriation payments;
• Marketing and advertising expenses purchases from residents and non-residents, including other motivational payments;
• Experience to work with SAP;
• Experience in multinational companies and IFRS;
• Cumulative experience in accounting from5 years and Chief accounting experience from 2 years;
• Team management experience
• Passing through external and internal audit Desired experience
