Accountant

New York-based technology company with Lviv, Ukraine branch seeking a full-time Corporate Accountant at our local Lviv office.

This role is responsible for all corporate accounting for Ukraine business, responsible for managing the day-to-day general accounting, local government filings, and monthly close process.

We are looking for candidates local to Lviv. Competitive market salaries and fair, rewarded compensation for doing good work.

Requirements skills:

— Experienced with local Lviv and Ukraine corporate laws and regulations required;
— Experienced with local FOP laws and regulations required;
— At least 2-4 years of experience in accounting for a local Ukraine technology company;
— Degree in Accounting;
— Experienced in Microsoft Office (Excel/Word/Outlook/OneNote);
— Upper-Intermediate English communication skills;
— Excellent attention to detail;
— Excellent work ethic and responsive attitude;
— Self-motivated, organized, and methodical.

Responsibilities:

— Prepare monthly payment disbursements in online banking, for approval;
— Forecast and manage monthly expenses;
— Onboard new staff and handle employment agreements and paperwork;
— Assist all staff with paperwork and banking setup and changes;
— Manage Petty Cash and receipts;
— Maintain accounting and records;
— Maintain account analysis and bank reconciliations;
— Maintain accounting systems, policies & procedures to ensure proper bookkeeping and information reporting for a local business entity;
— Respond to management and auditor requests in a timely and effective manner;
— Manage the monthly close process;
— Interface with external accountants and auditors and assist in the audit process;
— Interface with local government agencies for regularly monthly, quarterly, and annual filings;
— Assist in regulatory and compliance activities;
— Related items as needed;
— Prepare invoices to customers;
— Ensure the PE’s payment process;
— Ensure full cycle of accounting of legal entity.
