Your role

• Responsible for the purchasing of packaging materials mostly for our Beauty Care division (such as jars, pumps, sprayers, stock items)
• Accelerate the plastic Sustainability strategy by selecting best-in-class suppliers
• Executes sourcing events, negotiates and contracts new or existing suppliers in line with the global strategy of the purchasing category
• Challenges and enriches the Categories' objectives, goals, and strategies, including all short, mid and long-term financial targets and any risk mitigation strategies
• Work in cross-functional project teams with R&D, Supply Chain and Marketing to drive innovation
• Mentoring Category support teams in the COE
• Leverage KPI reporting from analytical support teams to drive new financial opportunities

Your skills

• A minimum of 3 years’ experience in purchasing of direct or indirect materials for a global company; strategic purchasing considered an advantage
• Master’s degree, preferably in Business Administration/Supply Chain
• Passion for FMCG trends and innovation
• Excellent communication skills with negotiating, influencing and convincing abilities
• Excellent presentation skills, high assertiveness, and ability to establish trustful relationships across multiple functions and to leadership
• Ability to work on various tasks in parallel
• An open mindset that can react creatively on changes in the markets and our company
• Strong Project management knowledge and team player attitude
• Analytical thinking and conceptual skills
• Working proficiency in English is mandatory, other language is an advantage
