JOB DESCRIPTION
General Purpose:
Provide the 1-level user support and customer service on company-supported computer applications and platforms. Troubleshoot problems and advise on the appropriate action.
Main Job Duties and Responsibilities
- 1st level support for hardware (notebooks, stand computers, mobile devices, printers),
- 1st level support for standard software, in-house developments, company-specific test software
- Comprehensive support in the area of MS Office products
- Entry, processing, maintenance & documentation of all inquiries via telephone / email / portal
- Administration and support for e-mail encryption Zertificon
- Configuration and operating support of mobile devices iPhone / iPad via the MDM system MobileIron
- Support of system administration in user administration
- Management and support of a cloud solution based on owncloud
- Forwarding of non-solvable faults to downstream support groups or service providers
- Maintenance of a knowledge base on incidents based on the ISMS system «Cherwell»
Education, Qualifications and Experience
- A broad background of knowledge and you have gained initial experience (2 years or more) in the UHD / User Helpdesk and want to continue this
- Very high service orientation and strong communication skills in dealing with demanding, highly qualified users active on the market
o Microsoft Office products (especially advanced special topics such as pivoting, macro development / partly VBA, …),
o Microsoft Windows 7, 10 operating system
o Configuration and installation of Windows clients
o User administration and administration Active Directory
o Monitoring and compliance with SLAs
- Very good conceptual, solution-oriented and analytical thinking as well as independent, structured and careful working methods
- Experience or knowledge of Microsoft Azure is an advantage
- Experience or knowledge of the «Cherwell» ticket system is an advantage
- Very good German in speaking / good in writing is of great advantage — with existing basic knowledge we will help you on- and off-the-job to perfect it. Your customers usually speak German.
- German C1 is must
