About the Role

Insticator is continuing to grow and we are looking for a hard-working and enthusiastic person with fluent English to join our moderation team.

This role requires analytical thinkers that have a strong sense of integrity to help publishers create and maintain a positive, and 100% brand-safe user experience.

As a Moderator you will be responsible for reviewing user-generated content posted on the platform to ensure it adheres to established guidelines and preventing violative comments from appearing on the site.

You will work closely with AM, Product and Engineering teams to help improve our commenting product and establish a safe and engaging commenting environment.

Responsibilities and Duties

• Pre- and post-moderate incoming content shared by commenters: text posts, images, videos.
• Prevent the occurrence of inappropriate data.
• Communicate with our QA and Engineering teams and seek to identify bug or technical-related issues.
• Report and track ongoing moderation issues.
• Monitor and report on user feedback.
• Post sample comments for mockups.
• Seed comments. 
• Stay up to date with current events and news.
• Perform other related duties and assignments as required and as assigned by supervisor.

Qualifications

Professional Competencies

• Upper-intermediate/Advanced English.
• Bachelor’s degree (degree in Language Studies is a plus).
• Experience with investigating and reviewing digital content.
• Strong interest and knowledge regarding current events and news.
• Must be comfortable reviewing sensitive content
• Ability to work differing work rotations/shifts and non-standard work hours (including weekends).
• Basic understanding of IT terminology.
• High attention to detail, outstanding time management and organization skills.
• Ability to perform repetitive tasks.
• Ability to work with large volumes of information.
• Proficiency in using Google Drive (Docs, Sheets, Slides, Forms).
• Ability to work remotely.
