Senior Data Analyst

POSITION DESCRIPTION 

Our client is a worldwide news and information powerhouse, with prestigious brands including The Wall Street Journal, Factiva, Barron’s, MarketWatch and Financial News.

We are looking for an ambitious Data Analyst who would help to understand and document when and how the first-party data is used across client products.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Work closely with client teams to understand the data lifecycle (websites, backend services, data lakes, CDP, DMP, Google Ad Manager, etc.)
• Explore data sources, perform data analysis, find dependencies, data flow, and usage
• Document findings into data models, data flow, component, sequence diagrams, etc.
• Work on strategies how to improve/adjust data lifecycle on client products according to Privacy (user consent) requirements
• Work with client teams as Data Consultant/Analyst to apply selected strategies within new Data Governance Model

 REQUIREMENTS 

• Strong background in data analysis on enterprise-scale software products
• Experience of working with data tools
• Tech background and ability to access and explore the data independently would help the process and ensure the best possible understanding of data (Big Data, traditional databases, SQL, AWS, etc.)
• Strong writing skills, ability to frame inputs and findings about data into good documents, diagrams, etc.
• Upper-intermediate or higher English level (B2+), both verbal and written
